Donald Chrome Medical Elbow Action Pillar Type Sink Mixer

The Donald Chrome Medical Elbow Action Pillar Type Sink Mixer is an elbow action deck mounted sink mixer. It has a 1/4-turn ceramic disc with an aerated swan/goose neck, swivel spout, outlet, 1/2" BSP male fixed centre connection ends.

The mixer tap comes with two s-connectors and flanges. An S-connection fitting is a practical solution for situations where the water outlet holes from the kitchen sink are either wider apart or closer together than the width of the tap body, allowing for a proper fit and secure installation. Additionally, these connectors help elevate the tap, offering extra height for enhanced functionality and convenience.

What is a 1/4-turn Ceramic Disk Cartridge?

A quarter turn ceramic disk cartridge is required for this tap since it is elbow operated and there is no room for the lever to turn 360° degrees. This makes the tap easy to turn on when you need to activate the water flow via the elbow operated lever.

Traditional taps which use a washer require at least two and a half turns to turn on the water to full pressure. Quarter turn taps use ceramic discs and only require a 90° turn to be on full pressure making it ideal to operate such a tap.
